At this time, I only have two shades theres been a supply issue here in Canada on account of those new silver caps they cant manufacture them fast enough to ship them so thats why were seeing a little lag in terms of the product being in-store here in Canada. HOWEVERI used it with one of my regular formula OPI colors (did the whole thing: base coat, color, to coat) and it lasted me 1 actual full week before I saw even a hint of a chip. And it's far less than I thought it'd be after 2 shifts at work. The lighting in bars is notoriously not good so again, excuse the crummy photos.

I know you're having trouble believing that but if you saw what regular-normal polish looked like after 8 hours, you'dbe stunned. This is supposed to last longer than regular OPI polish - but in my experience, it doesn't. Other components present is less than 1% concentration. They dont streak one bit and they cover perfectly! This part is really important to note: I gotta tell you that this wear you see on day 4 with OPI Infinite Shine is the wear I normally get on day 1 with any other regular polish/top coat combo. opi infinite shine: unequivocally crimson. I tell ya what -- I think this stuff is equal to the magic that's stuffed into the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel top coat. It nearly made me weep to see so much polish gone. The colors are lovely. Today her nails looked a little dry to me so I used a protein base coat as an experiment with the IS color and top. I think, rather than invest in any of the special long-wear nail polish systems that set themselves apart from Regular Nail Polish, since I am a gel polish addict first, and a RNP buyer second, Ill continue to extend RNP wear, when I wear them alone, by intensive use of a good topcoat like Seche Vite or Orly Glosser, every other day, and remember to cap the tips. And the shine was still there! Lifelong nail biter (I am 60!) Its most like Dior Gris Montaigne, just a bitlighter.

I have been using the VINYLUX Top Coat over other polishes just because I like it. I have never had this chance to have beautiful manicures that stay for a long time, until I discover this brand that for me is the best in the world. And this Infinite Shine is supposed to be OPI'sanswer to long-wearing polish. 
Back to my concern, Im waiting to see if this dries out nails. makeupalley opi I havent experienced any bubbling but I can see why you wouldnt want to use it on clients if that was happening. Streaky and uneven.

The top coat protected my nail color for just short of a full week without having to reapply. I own a small salon, we are doing about 200 services a month and we never had that happen with any other polish. I'm even a little bit surprised. The bottom coat and the color remain fine, but since the trio works so well, I just buy a fresh topcoat. and the stuff is good! That's 14 hours of nail polish hardship and I gotta say I'm impressed with this total lack of wear on her left hand 'cause I really understand what she's been doin' with them hands. They dont have gel in them and just because their top coat contains an ingredient that its sensitive to light- it doesnt make it gel. Flowing texture with easy application, I love the fine brush with square edge is very practical. They're abused. manigeek likes it! You just get used to the soak-offs. I think its necessary to make sure it is mixed well.
My dominant right thumb day 3: there's wear and possibly a couple puny chips at the free edge there - it's almost invisible to the eyeball but it shows up very well in a photo. It started chipping and peeling within 2'days. I shot this in eyeball perspective for you! Not sure if it was the way I applied it or not, but after applying the top coat, my shiny nail color was so dull that it looked matte. I tried the o.p.i. I love how my nails look after applying and it's so nice to wear my natural nails! I think its going to blow IS away. I have better results with the Vinylux line. If this was a darker shade, this kind of wear would be 100% unacceptable and I'd have removed it by now. The extended wear polishes, in general, seem to be pretty hit or miss. I think OPI Infinite Shine is stupendous! Im a shameless nail polish/gel addict, so I certainly appreciate any informative swatching/review blog I can get my beautifully manicured hands on. There's really minor wear starting on my middle finger and there's a little chip on the edge of my ring finger that I didn't even notice before. You'll have to hang out to see what we're up to. OPI Inifinte Shine retails for $12.50/ea. The top coat needsto be applied a little thicker than you think to get good coverage and decent level. Pull the topcoat over the tips of nails to seal in color to the very end. As I get older, I am constantly reminded of those mistakes when I look in the mirror. I love the entire Infinite Shine collection. I really do LOVE my gel systems though. She also wanted it on her toes which I didnt feel was necessary but well see. [], If theres one beauty lesson I wish I would have learned as a young girl, it would be to apply ALL THE SUNSCREEN and STAY OUT OF THE TANNING BED. You can see the uneven line around the cuticle of my middle finger like I said, the polish was thick and not so flowy so I didnt get the cleanest lines. The polish seems to wear the same as without it. I had to take it off and I didn't have any staining or nuthin'. I dont get it, seems like just a way to charge more for polish that is not different than regular opi . Gel polish isnt for me but it is a great base for regular polish. But its really hard to apply. It doesnt require light to dry but, exposure aids in longevity. By the way, Michelle, have you heard of or tried CGs new Ever Glaze yet???? It has progressed a little more and is enough wear 'n tear for me to NEED to remove this polish. Im curious to hear how the protein base works with the system. To me, this is totally unacceptable. Ooooh! Not bad considering I slapped this stuff on at 3pm, rolled out to work at 4pm and then worked a few hours. Step 1: Apply a thin layer of PRIMER to protect your nails. I leave a manicure on for a week or so, and then I take the polish off and really clean the nail bed and soak my nail with oil intensively for a day before re-doing nail polish. It's up to you to let me know if I'm right. The extended-wear systems dont seem to have solved the puzzle of how to provide all the benefits without the problems, yet. Im sorry to hear that Shannon. I have a couple of colors in that one, and more colors from the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel line because I always seem to have a coupon for it. No matter the amount or type of bonder/primer I use, scuffing/roughing of the nail, etc. I hastily applied it, so tip wear appeared after a couple days thoughthe shine factor didnt disappoint. It has yellow undertones so it leans warm but not so much that cooler skin tones cant wear it. Im definitely one for traditional polish. Four days for me is like 7 days for you. But we should maybe look at my dominant right hand on day 4 huh? OPI has entered the gel hybrid game with OPI Infinite Shine. So lets move on to shade number two! From arms length, the wear is actually pretty minor and there are no significant chips like the ones Amanda shows on Day 2 (she's been in more water than me though). Right now Amanda has the bottle of Withstands the Test of Thyme and shes just slapped it on and sent me a pic! Nail polish generally chips pretty quickly on me even with base and top coats. I first bought the base and the top plus 1 light pink colour back in spring. Its my dominant and it definitely shows more wear on day two than my left does. Also what drives me nuts is. I dont know enough about nail and product chemistry to weigh in. I have no issue with the polishes, but once I put on the Top Coat, my lovely glossy finish becomes dull and almost matte. OPI Infinite Shinenail polish is 5-Free (Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor) but it should be noted that the Infinite Shine Primer contains camphor. The polish DOES NOT wear like a gel polish (but without the light). They used to have tons and tons of regular polish. Please read the lables/ingredients ;). ^^^Thats like saying that snow is the new ice cream because it contains frozen water. Applied it Thursday (2/4). Highly recommend them!! See you can hardly see them thumb nail scratches, right? The Primer not only helps the product adhere to the nail, it prevents staining. My theory is that because this top coat "cures" (which really means hardens) best in full spectrum UV light (which only really comes from the sun and not from a UV lamp), that without sunlight, it takes a long time to set up hard enough so you experience zero tip wear at all.
