You will enjoy it if you do decide to get a tune. Ok so I thought the same way that some of these guys do but I decided to pull the trigger and get the tune. From my various forum research, they have the best reputation for the 5.0 coyote. But with that said I would think bama tunes have to be in the top 5 out there.

Some people I talk to say bama isn't the best choice, that steeda is better. Interesting.. I had same issue with a tune from a Fl tuner, tried another Tampa area tuner and way better drivability.
His tunes are nothing short of an amazing balance of power, safety and drivability. Are you manual or auto trans?

Your GT500 has a Ford Tune uploaded from the Ford ProCal Tuner (located in the trunk) , It's the same tune put into the GT500KR. If you still want to go for it take a look at steeda and c&l these brands have a CAI that helps with the water issues for the 13 only. As for CAI. 2013 mustang 5.0 track pack(first mustang), Factory tune leaves a lot of power on the table, go with any of the big names; vmp, Bama, Lund, livernois, C&L, Steeda etc. 
I cant lieI have been based on a past experience, little 'concerned' by canned tunes. I'm actually running a Steeda CAI and tune, from the research I did Steeda has a better CAI due to the velocity stack in the inlet and it also uses the factory ram air snorkel and I have had zero problems with water intrusion from the heat vents in the hood. As for Tuner Companies, PBD above, Lund Racing, Hypermotive and others are great places to get tunes for your car. Do you guys think its worth it though? They aren't better than one or the other.

Other people on here will tell you that it is more of a dress up part then anything else.

I'm not debating his skill, I'm just curious if I will be able to continue using him as a tuner in the future if I do any performance modifications to the engine that require a new tune.
